A 1KW system can generate about 5.5 units/day from Nov-Feb (not rainy, sunny but panels do not get very hot), about 5 units from March to June (not rainy, sunny but panels get very hot hence less efficiency) and 4 to 4.5 units from June to September (Monsoon season, panels get less sunlight, electricity production totally depends on clouds and amount of rain during this period)

A 3KW system is the most efficient for a 2000 sq.ft house that uses more than 500 units/month.
